"Blurred Autonomy, Synthetic Existence" (BASE) explores the confluence of individuality and collective identity. This long-form generative synthography collection depicts 'community members' in vibrant outfits, each subject's gaze meeting the camera with a disconcerting uniformity.

This series plays on the juxtaposition of the unique and the homogenous. Each subject is adorned in extravagant, otherworldly fashion that is whimsically unique on its own, but uniform in the context of the whole collection. The attire, with its bizarre, colorful, and exuberant patterns, draws you in, yet it's the disturbing perfection that holds your gaze, forcing a contemplation of the loss of individual identity within a collective hivemind. Furthermore, the characters generated in these images are not real people. While AI can be given personality traits and even memories, we view this synthetic form of being as not 'real.'
